What is the difference between vectors and scalars?
Scalar quantity is like a number that tells us how much of something there is, while a vector quantity is like an arrow that tells us both how much of something there is and in which direction it is going.
Some examples of scalar quantities are time, speed, mass, and temperature. Some examples of vector quantities are displacement, velocity, acceleration, and force.”
